I have a situation where editors and account owners can edit each other's content. This includes publishing/unpublishing as well. In order for this to work, I need to give permission to each role to publish and unpublish 'any' of the relevant content types. I have views set up to display their shared content and they publish and unpublish from there. That works well for my purpose.

This breaks down when they view the content of another organization entirely because they can publish and unpublish their content as well.

It seems to me that if I could remove the links to publish and unpublish on the node view pages, I can get around the problem.

Is this a good solution in your opinion? If so, what would be the best way to make the necessary change? Can you identify what I need to remove?

Any help is appreciated. Thank you!

Tab Tamer module comes to the rescue once more! What a great little module! I hid the tabs node/%/publish/% and node/%/unpublish/% and the links in the nodes are gone. This would probably work for the tabs as well.

Thank you for the publish content module. It rocks!
