suspected web crawlers like yahoo, google etc are mentioned on the project page of this module. but who to "get rid" of them so they don't show upp with their location in this modules listings or maps ... ? can this be accomplished?
makes me also wonder how I could avoid to have my own location listed .... ?

rdeboerI guess I could introduce a text area field where you could enter a number of wild cards that will be filtered out.
E.g
62.*
101.1?1.*
Something like that?

mondrakeHi
there is potential this can be achieved by combining usage of IP Geolocation, Browscap and Better Statistics.
Better Statistics enables adding to the accesslog whatever type of information at the time a page is hit, extending also the Views schema, Browscap provides information about the nature of the browser or crawler requesting the page, and IP Geolocation.... well you know.
This is all in progress, you can get some background here:
Browscap: #1787488: Integration with Better Statistics [Discussion]
and
IP Geolocation: #1791526: Integration with Better Statistics
