Had a spec which required a number of modifications/enhancements to this module - I've created a sandbox project at http://drupal.org/sandbox/wodenx/1504674 which provides the following:

  • Template-based theming for support notification emails
  • Customized ticket submission, including submit-messages, redirect after submission and a themable "thank you" page
  • Per client ticket creation pages
  • Hides the subscription fieldset if user is not authorized to subscribe/unsubscribe
  • Optional automatic support ticket path aliasing for sites without pathauto
  • Faux-exportable support for clients via Features/CTools

Many of these features would be more efficient if implemented directly within support module itself. I will convert and submit a patch if there is interest in committing. Otherwise, I will probably promote to a full project at some point.
