In 4.7.x-1.x-dev and 4.6.x-1.x-dev both job.module and resume.module have short <? opening tags instead of <?php, This is causing problems for some people:

I fixed that, although the 4.7 version of these modules were never completely ported.

Use 5.x since it is maintained and known to work.
