It would be nice to have a little blurb about the differences...it took me a minute to figure out that the permissions aren't on the permissions page as in D6 but on the field's settings itself.

Hopefully at this point people have figured out the differences between the D6 and D7 version. Given the age of this ticket I'm closing.
