I succesfully used IMCE with TinyMCE to create a story with images between text and it worked very well, once! For my second and subsequent stories the images only appear in the TinyMCE preview display but not in Preview or after Publishing. I've verified the html code and that the images exist on my server. I've also gone back to the story after publishing and when I edit it the images once again magically appear; only to dissapear when previewing again. Everything in both posts appear to be identical with respect to photo sizes, positioning, spacing, etc. One post works perfectly and the other not at all.
Another much smaller problem is the inability to put a border around the images; maybe this has something to do with my theme's [one I downloaded] css styles for images (white boarders/no boarders)?
Has anybody else experienced this problem and/or do they have a solution for it???
Thanks!

kaplan1 commentedI am having the same trouble. My photos do not show up in my published stories or pages. I've been searching all over, but have not yet found and answer. Did you figure it out?

end user commentedHi
I'm having the same problem with latestFCK Module (fckeditor-5.x-1.1) / FCKEditor (2.4.2) / IMCE (5.x-1.0 2007-May-15). I click the browse button, upload an image, select the image which is inserted into the compose message window and its visible and editable. I then submit the story but the image is not shown except for the text and if i view the source code of the page there is no image tag there at all. Now I go back to edit the post and the image is there and I can edit it but it won't insert once the story is submitted.

end user commentedFixed it.
Changing Input format to Full HTML in the page/story solved it for me.

yched commentedThis is *not* the right way to fix this.
You should stick to 'filtered HTML', and add wimg> in the list of allowed tags in the configuration screen for this filter
