unless this is a caveat that I missed reading about... but I installed sections and it worked for the few tests that I did. But then I realized I was not able to change my theme from my account settings. No errors, but the theme just would remain the same, that is until I disabled sections module, then instantly the last theme I chose appeared.

i searched briefly for a bug report but didnt see one.

i run 4.5

very nice module, though.

I should add that i had no sections defined (deleted them) at the time of discovering this issue.

thnis is a known issue. I will have to think a bit if I will tag thius as "as built". IT was intended this way, but I have to think of some use cases where one might want to keep the users theme settings.

I hope this isn't "by design." It'd be truly lousy to intentionally break the Drupal theming system just by installing a module.

I posted a patch in this issue which fixes this.
