Image doesn't actually get inserted in Safari 2, using the drupalimage plugin with TinyMCE. The popup is fine, just clicking on "Insert" does nothing.

I no longer have access to a Mac to retest this, unfortunately. Perhaps another Safari user could give it a go.

Did you try to insert a filter tag or HTML code? I'm asking, because the javascript behaviour is different.
