Had 7.1.5 installed and worked fine in Firefox and Chrome (don't really use IE, so no idea if it worked or not) till the past week or two. Now, in Chrome only, when we (happens on multiple pcs) click Browse in the CKEditor WYSIWYG (v 7.1.8), it opens a popup Chrome window BEHIND all windows and when you try to make it the active window, it's inaccessible. I tried updating to the latest dev version of IMCE (Jan 6, 2012) and no change. Tried updating Chrome and no change. Still works fine in Firefox. I have done some other updates on the site recently (ctools and others), but no idea if that could have had an effect on IMCE. Does IMCE rely on any specific modules/js/jquery (that we may have changed/updated for another feature)? Thoughts on cause/troubleshooting? We can use Firefox, but many of us prefer Chrome, so if there's a way to fix it, that would be great.
Thanks.

jens peter commentedDuplicate to what?
Why not point to the duplicate so this might be of some help?
ufku commentedDuplicate to n number of issues opened without searching.
jens peter commentedI have searched for this but cannot find any one with the same problem (I might have searched wrong of cause).
And I have not found any ideas on how to solve this issue or work around it - so I don't agree on closing this as that just remove the issue.

pjbarry21 commentedJust as a side note, I had done a search in the tickets for this module and found no note of this. I did not look to outside forums (e.g. groups.google.com) for something that to me appeared to be specific to IMCE. I don't know if "closed (duplicate)" was meant to indicate that there were issues posted outside the drupal.org site that talked about this (and not necessarily duplicates in the IMCE ticket queue). I tend to restrict searches about what appear to be drupal specific issues to the drupal.org site (usually more productive and less of a time suck than searching through every forum out there that may or may not have anything to do with my version of drupal and the modules I have installed).

pjbarry21 commentedYes, but the other Drupal ticket refers to a module I don't use and hadn't heard of until now (I use CKEditor without the IMCE WYSIWYG bridge module) -- so I didn't search in there (I restrict my ticket/issue queue searches to modules I have installed)...

jens peter commentedI solved my problems by installing CKEditors Nightly Build (http://nightly.ckeditor.com/)
I still don't understand why this issue was marked duplicate as it clearly was not.

pjbarry21 commentedSame here. No more issues with latest CKEditor (and using 3.6.3 from their site). I haven't changed/updated Chrome.
