my settings are:
1.Save only deepest term
2.Force the user to choose a term from a deepest level
3.Resizable-Disabled
4.Enabled drop box
5.Reset selection of hierarchical select enabled
hierarchical select is allowing a term to be saved at any level, where as it is supposed to allow only deepest terms

I ended up using Simpe taxonomy select which handles this quite nicely!

I am suspecting this is now outdated.

I am unable to replicate this issue.

If this is still a thing could the summary be updated with more detail to replicate. As it stands the selector works nicely with the config described in the summary.
