When clicking on the "Login using OpenID" link in the user login block in Konqueror, the username/password fields fade out correctly, but the OpenID URL field dissappears half a second after fading in - that means that there is no textfield at all above the "Log in" button.
I'm not yet sure where the problem lies - might be possible that this is a jquery bug.
I know that Konqueror support is low priority and I use it myself only occasionally, too, I think we need to fix this anyway, though. Being able to log into a site is such critical functionality so that it really should work across as many browsers as possible ...

chx commentedpffft. Really. That's a crappy browser and I run Kubuntu.
samirnassar commentedWhether or not anyone runs Kubuntu isn't relevant. What is relevant is whether the OpenID module needs that particular fade-in technique that the OpenID module uses.
Also, closing the bug with a won't fix is rude, especially given the reasoning. Keep the bug open, and on the books, that way those of us who use Konqueror can keep track of the bug.
The bug can use more info, we don't know whether it is Konqueror per se that is the problem or shitty JavaScript in the OpenID module.
Request re-opening of bug and setting to active - needs more info.

Crell commentedKonqueror may be low-priority, but it is not no-priority.

samirnassar commentedAccording to Maksim the bug is fixed in the upcoming KDE4. https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=152059#c10 He also confirmed the bug in KDE 3.5.x
There is no clear timeline for the release of KDE 4.0 though, so this should still remain open as a bug.

anders.fajerson commentedThere is a patch dealing with this at http://drupal.org/node/186658, please test that one. As it also does a bunch of other stuff so I'm not yet marking anything as duplicate. Feel free to take out the Konqueror specific stuff and post it here, but IMO that patch should go in as it is.
