I've been trying the web fm module today and after battling for a long while I almost gave up :) - the error was simply a message every time I tried to upload a file: "Invalid upload path".

Then I decided to try the online demo at http://vera-ikona.com/ and surprisingly I got the same error.

Finally I did what I never do, I fired up IE7 (before I was using FF) and it turns up it works fine. On my FF (version 2.0.0.4) not only can't upload files but also the other options (file search, file metadata, and the file tree) under www.mysite.com/admin/webfm don't show at all.

I think it might be some javaScript bug. I just thought to let you know.

I just went to the 5.x demo site and logged into three different accounts with different perms and all were able to successfully upload a file via FF. If you are using 1.8, I suggest using the latest dev release instead. There was a refresh bug in 1.8 for the upload, though it works OK (you need to refresh the current directory after the upload to see the change).
