I think >1 subscribe block would be useful. For instance, one might want one in a sidebar on the homepage, and another in a different location on a "why subscribe to our newsletter" page.

Using simple PHP code an additional form can be placed at any location. You request has not been supported or repeated in other issues. Therefore I this will not be included in Simplenews.
