When setting permissions for Simplenews in drupal 5.1 access control keeps giving the error "HTTP Error 406 - Not acceptable" in both IE 6.029 and in Firefox 2.0.0.4.
This happens when I try to allow permissions to authenticated users, and a couple custom defined roles.

sutharsan commentedSearching the web learned me that this error can be caused by mod_security. You can check with your host if they have this (recently) installed.
Solutions van be found at various places on the web. This is one of them: http://www.wimpyplayer.com/support/faqs/docs/php_406_not_acceptable.html
