Class doesn't save and isn't output

I can't get this mod to work correctly. Just try going in to some pre-existing content and adding a class - it doesn't save and i've checked multiple times on different sites. The class doesn't show up in the output and doesn't save in the backend form, when the content is saved and is clicked back into again.

In the screenshot attached I added "seo" as the class, which isn't output.
