I ran into a few usability bugs, and upgrading to the latest version of jcrop resolved some of those. attached is a patch that brings jcrop up to the latest version

forgot to include css file

I had a small issue applying the css patch (whitespace issue), but it worked anyway. So, I can confirm that these two patches fix the latest dev build.
