Hi there,
I'm trying to use Page Manager to create a taxonomy term page view for my taxonomy pages, but the Display Suite taxonomy "Manage Display" selection overrides it.
Is there a way to prevent this from happening?
Cheers,
Ben.

swentel commentedNo, either use page manager or use DS, you simply can't use both.

greta_drupal commentedI am desperately looking for a way to override default taxonomy term page behavior for only certain vocabulary(ies), in order to render that vocab/term page as a tabbed displays page (using Views menu tabs). Have not seen where I can do that with Display Suite, but have invested a LOT of time in Display Suite to create custom form displays and node displays.
It appears that Page Manager, and/or Panels, will do this -- allow for overriding of only certain vocabs/terms.
Can you confirm whether or not this can be achieved with Display Suite. Really hate to abandon DS.

bensey commentedForgive me swentel,
I've just figured out that I can use both for my usage situation, I just didn't have it configured properly...
Under Manage Display for the vocabulary I just needed to tell it not to use custom display settings for taxonomy pages. Page manager takes control of them then. Doh!
Cheers.
