Is it possible to tag a post with a username?
Say I'm writing a News item about one of my users, JohnDoe.
I would like to have the post belonging in category News and about user JohnDoe, not by JohnDoe.
->Posted in News, JohnDoe
So I could get a list a list of all posts about JohnDoe (tagged with username JohnDoe).

Does it make sense to make a taxonomy of users?
User Reference (CCK is another option, but doesn't display nicely as 'posted in').

If you don't mind creating terms in advance, you can use Taxonomy Defaults.
