It would be very cool to include an "optional" widget that would "Bury" the node if the user isn't interested in it, or thinks it's "lame".
For a live example, see "http://www.digg.com" ,if not registered,just register and "Bury" a story.
This addition would make Drupalit! everyones choice!

my forum users really need a mechanism for automoderation
Apparently "moderation votes" were available before 4.7 but then where removed
(see http://drupal.org/node/23703 ). This feature would help with that respect.
Alternatively a thumb-up / thumb-down scheme (negative vote) could be used.
I am also looking into http://drupal.org/project/actions
and http://drupal.org/project/voting_actions
but I am not sure ho to put things together....
Maybe http://drupal.org/project/vote_up_down would do it,
but it needs a new maintainer.
