mamasdiner commentedSimilar problem when adding MySpace videos. Older MySpace videos show from a month ago, but now new posts show only the "See Video" text link and there is no link or video.

eggthing commentedSimilar problem here. But my "See Video" link isn't empty. It appears on the teaser and links to the full node. It also appears in a group box. (group as in the group you create when adding fields to content-types)

mamasdiner commentedI noticed that Myspace changed their url for videos from http://vids.myspace.... to http://myspacetv...
so what I did was replace myspacetv with vids.myspace on a file that wasn't showing up. Now the video file shows in preview format, but the link to the video on my gallery page looks like this with no thumbnail:
10134205_thumb1.jpg" width="120" height="90" alt="See Video" title="See Video" />I have a Youtube video that still displays the "See Video" text link without a thumbnail, but have not figured out why yet.
Any ideas on these?
Thanks.

mamasdiner commentedI figured out that the "See Video" text link was appearing for a Youtube video because the video had been deleted from Youtube or url was altered. Anyway, I used a different video and now it's working, thumbnail and all.
Now if only Myspace vids would render correctly.:|

aaron commentedyeah, i noticed the same about myspace vids, and need to change some links on the demo site. meanwhile, youtube (and others) provide an api, that we could hook into to see when a video's been deleted, so at least it could flag a watchdog error (or maybe hook into actions.module -- that would be cool).
i'll add a feature request for the api part. however, to address the first issue, i need to look at behavior -- it shouldn't have a 'see video' link if there's nothing in the field.

artatac commentedI'm afraid it isnt, I have just created a brand new website, with everyhing up to date and still get the See Video link if a page does not use a video. It seems ok in main page but not in teaser see http://venturacottage.homedns.org/v5extra01/category/topic/fruit/apple
thanks
