If I understand issue #1388704: Support standard Aptitude for all system updates w/o the need to run Barracuda correctly, I need to update to 2.0.3 before I can simply update my system by running apt-get. Is that right? I also have two other questions:

1. Would running apt-get also update Barracuda?
2. I've seen a couple of references to 2.0.3, but it isn't clear to me when to expect it. Is there a list of blocking issues, or a release schedule?

Yes, it works only for post-BOA-2.0.3 upgrade or install.

You can use apt-get only to update your system only when you don't have PHP 5.2.17 already installed or you are using 5.3 only, and it is either Debian Squeeze or Ubuntu Precise, plus, you will change default _NGINX_FROM_SOURCES=YES to _NGINX_FROM_SOURCES=NO in the Barracuda installer.
