Hi,

Do I really need to install tomcat to running Solr 3.6 with Drupal 6? Because I just installed Solr 3.6 and it works without tomcat.
Is tomcat7 will give any advantages?

Many people are happy to deploy w/ jetty or another container.

Solr 3.x should work fine with 6.x-1.x, though the config isn't optimized for new features. please report any issues.

I have Solr 3.6 running fine and can connect with the 6.x-3.0 module but cannot connect with the 6.x-1.7 version. Has anyone else had this problem?
Only local images are allowed.
I would really like to be able to use several of the related contrib modules like solr auto complete and solr for ubercart that only work for the 6.x-1.x version.
