FYI: I had a client that couldn't connect because of an internal firewall blocking the FTPS, and their ISP couldn't resolve it. For those wanting to enable it again temporarily have a look at http://drupalcode.org/project/barracuda.git/commitdiff/3b9856cfe0e1f1909...
