DS not displaying certain fields consistently (flakey)

I have 2 custom fields that Display Suite inconsistently displays:

GetLocations Fields (geo fields)*
FiveStar

In the case of the GetLocations Fields, DS is not displaying the Google map or the textual field content. In the past, it has displayed this. It is very flakey.

With regard to FiveStar, Display suite inconsistently displays the selected format. E.g., I have it configured to show graphic stars, yet it will display with a select list instead.

Also, DS is interferring with Better Exposed Filters collapsible behavior (fields aren't clickable). This, too, has worked in the past. Might be interferring with collapsible behavior of fieldsets (fieldgroups) too; but, cannot confirm, as now with re-enable, all seems okay again.

In all cases, I have:
... Cleared all caches, repeatedly
... Resaved field settings (under display)
... Resaved the displays

The problem occurs on Full Content and Teaser (only 2 builds that I am using), which is generated by Views using Display Suite Teaser build.

When I disabled the DS module, functionality returned and everything displayed correctly. When I re-enabled DS, it displayed correctly. Can't keep doing this for a live site.

Problem occurs with May 23rd -dev build, as well as previous one -- perhaps even other previous builds. I've been fighting this now-you-see-it-now-you-don't display for awhile.
