After installing the social media module, and selecting only Twitter and Facebook as the platforms and widgets that I want to show, and un-checking all other social media site platforms and widgets options, I am nevertheless getting this warning message:

    You are trying to use a social media LinkedIn profile token but the profile has not been set. Set LinkedIn profile.
    You are trying to use a social media LinkedIn profile token but the profile has not been set. Set LinkedIn profile.
    You are trying to use a social media Google+ profile token but the profile has not been set. Set Google+ profile.
    You are trying to use a social media Google+ profile token but the profile has not been set. Set Google+ profile.
    You are trying to use a social media YouTube profile token but the profile has not been set. Set YouTube profile.
    You are trying to use a social media YouTube profile token but the profile has not been set. Set YouTube profile.

Additionally, I have not selected the RSS profile, but that icon keeps showing up. Occassionally, I will get all icons showing even though I haven't chosen them. Clearing the cache temporarily displays the chosen ones (with the exception of the unwanted RSS icon) but there is clearly an error when I'm being told I haven't set the profile on widgets I never chose in the first place.

This was caused by having service links module previously installed on my site. I completely uninstalled it using the devel module. There must be a token namespace collision somewhere.

There are a few things you can do to fix this. There are two profile widget sets, socialmedia_profile-buttons and socialmedia_profile-default. The socialmedia_profile-buttons is a static example set (it was created early in the project), the socialmedia_profile-default is a more intelligent set (it was created for the Apps wizard later on). The main difference is that the socialmedia_profile-buttons set does not add or remove buttons based on the checked profile settings, the default set does.

You can do one of two things, switch to using the socialmedia_profile-default set, or use the Widgets admin to edit the socialmedia_profile-buttons set, override it and remove the buttons you are not using. You can also build your own custom profile widget set that only includes the platforms you want to link to.

can someone tell me where these changes are made. Is it in configuration > media > social media? I cannot see the options described here, perhaps I'm looking in tye wrong place, thanks
