Settings for jplayer:
Kind: Playlist
Autoplay: no
Preferred solution: HTML5
Preload media: no
initial volume: 80%
Initially muted: no
Repeat: none
Background color: 000000

File Format: mp3

jplayer library: 2.1.0

I've tried in Chrome (mac), FF (mac), and IE (pc) and all with the same results. The buttons always skip one item on the playlist and plays the next one on the list. Users can still hear the skipped over item by manually clicking the title link. However, this sort of renders the next and previous buttons useless.

Just tried to turn on the Autoplay option to see if that works and actually realized that
1. changes nothing regarding the next and previous buttons
2. autoplay doesn't play the next item
3. the entire item doesn't play in full. It seems to stop short 10-20 seconds from the end.

Interesting, I can't seem to replicate this either in Firefox or Chrome. I wonder if there's something specific about your configuration. Can you replicate this on a new Drupal install? What about if you use the jPlayer Audio feature export?

Weird. I installed jplayer again on a fresh install of Drupal, and you're absolutely right, I don't see any issues with it at all.

I tried to uninstall the jplayer and remove the library from the site where I'm seeing problems and reinstall it again, but it still skips one item on the list again. I'm trying to think about all the places I could go to configure jplayer, but it just seems like it's in 2 places:

1. Manage Display (where all the configuration settings are mentioned at the beginning of this post)
2. Configuration > Media > jPlayer (which all that is just to point to the library...which works fine; it's finding the library without any problem)

Is there anywhere else where I can configure the jplayer? My brain is fried.

I can second that this issue does occur. I've been trying to sort it out but no luck yet... Any advice from anyone?

This seems to be related to the "Protected mode" option in the jplayer config screen. I disabled the option and the player functions normally.
