I noticed the linksdb.install file, contained no database schema for postgresql.
I've translated the mysql schema to postgresQL and tested this shortly by adding a few links, and all appears to be in order, but it probably need some additional testing by others.

I will be providing a conversion function to the Web Links module, which already has this and much more.

A conversion function to the Web Links module is available for both 5.x and 6.x. That module provides this feature.
