I verified this bug against the 5.x-1.7 version to make sure my changing the URL field from varchar to text had nothing to do with this.

Install weblinks mod
Enable the mod
Fiddle a bit...
Disable the mod
Uninstall the mod
Enable the mod again
Creating a weblink NOW shows no entry between Link Name and URL. That is the spot that category pick list usually shows up.

I will dig into the code... No guesses about this behavior. (shrug)

Never mind... I forgot to go to Categories, edit the weblinks vocabulary, and state that the field needs to show up... gggrrrrr

Still... it was enabled the first time, but NOT after disabling/uninstalling/enabling... please fix this sharp spot.

Looks like uninstall missed a few fields.

Need to review uninstall process.

Went thought and cleared up the uninstaller. It should now remove the web links categories as well as a fer variables.
