Node has been restricted to 2 specific Roles and gives an Access Denied message when i click on a menu, so the Node permissions are ok but the menu item (on the Navigation menu) does show up for a plain authenticated user.

Using Drupal 5.2, applied the patch to menu.inc (made no diff), removing cookies makes no diff either.. The other 6 cases work fine but none of those are on the Navigation menu.

Could you please share with us whether it was browser cache or Drupal cache issue? And what exactly did you do to make it work as it should?
