Issue Summary
First of all, I see this is going to be a great module, but I suppose it's high time to think about performance. What happens if there are many thousands of subscribers of a set and the server has to send hundreds of emails on each cron run.
I am wondering of a cron throttling function like in simplenews module. It works great and you might want considering to implement this feature.

Wanted to comment on this post...
And say this is truly an awesome module. Hope it all works out -- So far I have 10 people subscribed and more on the way and i send e-mails now without a problem.
