I would like to have a way of displaying thumbnails of images from flickr that could be selected and the appropriate photo id tag inserted into content. Something similar to the way the img_assist module works. It might also be useful to let users choose images from their photoset, other drupal site users or even a group pool.

There is http://drupal.org/project/flickrstickr Maybe Flickrstickr should lean heavier on the flickr module/get integrated as a plugin to it. Has anyone been talking about that idea?
