When would release 7.x-2.1

Agreed. I have had to upgrade to 2.x-dev, in order to have the patch from http://drupal.org/node/1183300#comment-5544482 - this was committed over 7 months ago.

References 7.x-2.0 was released over 9 months ago.

Release 7.x-2.1, please!!

I will look into this soon enough. Can we please use this request to collate the number of patches you will like to see in 2.1 ?

Also, as a new maintainer would be good to have you guys testing the latest dev prior to releasing the next stable version.

How does that sound ? :)

+1. Please. I got bitten by #1183300: remove maxlength from node_reference_autocomplete once again because it is not part of the stable release. I've been running the dev version (a75aaab) on a site without any problem, and the patch for #1183300 on another site again with no problem.
