hey folks, thanks for the great gmap work. i'm trying to get u minn mapserver working with the drupal gmap api and am having trouble getting the wms services to work.

the README.txt says "8) (optional) To use wms features get the script http://dist.codehaus.org/geoserver/gmaps-geoserver_scripts/wms-gs-1_0_0.js
and install it in your gmap directory." ...where does it go? i tried gmap/, gmap/js/, gmap/thirdparty/ and no joy. also tried wms-gs-1_0_1.js with same result.

also tried the wms php script at http://docs.codehaus.org/display/GEOSDOC/Drupal and no luck either.

i'd really prefer to use mapserver or some other wms for image overlays, eg, for polygon overlays. polygon overlays through gmap api directly crawls to a halt with many vertices.

btw, anyone else not able to connect to irc.freenode.net lately (past month)?

Sorry, wms is currently not implemented in DRUPAL-5.

It will get reimplemented before the 1.0 release.

I'm on irc.us.freenode.net right now, perhaps your ISP started blocking IRC?
