Issue Summary
1) When a user has created a resume, how do you make the link to create a resume go away?
2) For the "job providers" there is a "Job Applications" view. How come there is no resume view so people can view and edit their resume?

You may find that folks may want to have more than one resume to send to employers/recruiters. Investigate the nodefamily module - it will allow you to set a maximum number of content types that can be submitted by users.
You can also find the link to the 'edit resume' feature and add that link to your menu.
