But You cant make subtheme with the "Premium Responsive" Theme as a base theme..

Thank you for your reply, yes I did follow this page. I copied the responsive theme folder, re-named it altered the .info file and edited the template.php and the theme.settings.php but somehow when I try to set "Show Social Icon" in the new theme settings page it will not take. So I am guessing there is another file that needs to be modified. Any ideas?

I just made a sub-theme, so it is possible to create a sub-theme with this theme. I get an error message though, but it's nothing critical, and I have filed a bug report.

When you make your sub-theme, I recommend you use regexxer Search Tool (Linux) or a similar search and replace tool to search for "responsive" in all files and change them to the name of your sub-theme. If you do it manually it's easy to miss the original name of the base theme somewhere in your new sub-teme.
