Install problems (done on pantheon) Undefined index: und and others

I had a few problems installing and updating openacademy. I also filed this with pantheon.

[OH! I just realized that it does the install apps twice because the first time is for panopoly, and then the second is for open academy. So there is nothing weird about that.]

Thoughts, advice, fixes?
(I also tried to install it on my laptop (MAMP) and ran into different problems of whitescreening.)
Let me know if any other info would be helpful.

I can file an issue for each error, but I was wondering if there was a common cause and that they were related.

Since I picked doing the open academy during the pantheon setup, I think that was alpha.
