I want display a list of best comments on the home page of my site (Drupal 4.7.7) I have searched the drupal.org and failed to find any solution. The views module doesn't offer such functionality either.

Can anybody give me some clue?

Because comments aren't nodes I'm not sure it's possible to attach any kind of rating system to them. If you're willing to upgrade to Drupal 5 you could use the Node Comment module along with Five Star or one of the other voting/rating modules.

I knew there are some modules for rating the comments, even in Drupal 4.7. However, I want the best comments to be listed together as under a column with or without a rating system. When there is no rating system, the admiinister should do it on his judgement.
