It would be nice to have the prefix/suffix fields for the 'other' field. An example of where this is useful: entering a price where the currency symbol is prefixed/suffixed.

The numeric fields support prefix/suffix which are added to the value when displayed in the node view.
However neither the list nor the other option actually display the prefix/suffix in the form - is that what you mean should be added?

So this is far from ready for production because it does not format the same as a number field and the prefix and suffix values do not show up on the node edit form but wanted to get this on here in case people wanted to collaborate.
