I re-opened the PHPIDS issue in the Whitelist queue, but I don't think that's where the issue is http://drupal.org/node/1589196#comment-6268296

The URL included in both the drupal-org.make and civicrm_starterkit.make is https://phpids.org/files/phpids-0.7.zip

That works with drush make, but fails in the Drupal.org packaging.

Having this profile and starterkit available will be such a big step forward for all D7 + Civi 4.2 users.

Would really appreciate it if someone could take a look and help resolve this as soon as possible

I've changed the whitelist entry to not use SSL, since curl reported their certificate has issues.

I'm closing this as a duplicate of #1589196: PHPIDS since the change was made to the validation.

I added some help about this problem to this page Common Drush Make errors and their solutions. It would be great if the error caused by an SSL issues was different than a 404, but I realize this is an edge case and I'll know to check the url with curl and/or just use the non secure URL in the future.

Thanks!
