Even if it meant an overhaul of what I've got, I would have been open to that. In fact, as for the parts that you have that aren't in mine (five fields instead of three, multiple values - no wait - I think I have multiple values, formal vs. prefered), I was planning on implementing them. So basically, there will eventually be two identical(?) modules in short order.
Which is why I always do a fresh module search before starting a new one.
If you want to combine modules at this point, we could do that. If you don't, that's your choice. Regards.

Anonymous (not verified) commentedOh, goodness! I don't know how I missed this one in my searches, I'm sorry about that.
Now I've gone and possibly wasted a bunch of time.
Yeah, let's work on combining these, sometime. I'll probably roll into yours, because I know that ours has several shortcomings.
I'll post a comment on our project description.

rconstantine commentedOkay. So if you get a chance, why don't you compare code and see which you like better, generally speaking. I wouldn't mind starting a new branch in mine containing your code if you thought it was better. Otherwise, feel free to roll patches for mine to add features you feel it lacks (like five fields instead of three) and I'll get them added right away. Once we're under way, we can talk about CVS access to my project for you.
Adding fields is the biggest pain for CCK modules due to the convoluted way one must update the .install file. So if you'd rather that I add the title and suffix fields, I could think about getting to it soon. Likewise with a preferred name. Speaking of which, how many fields are you using for the preferred name?

Scott J commentedSo, now we have another chance to combine for a Drupal 7 version. Or is there yet another module for that?
