Hello

I am using glossify-6.x-3.0-beta11 for my Drupal 6.25 site. I set-up the module as described and the links for my chosen content were getting generated as desired. But when I try to load pages with the generated links after a few hours, they are not generated any more.

To get them to work again, I have to edit the content, save again for the links to show up again, only to disappear again after a few hours.

Can you please help with this issue.

Any feedback on the above issue would be great as the module is currently not generating any glossified links.

It is true that it is not 100% consistent at all..
I hope it works most of the time, but we should try to identify a reason for it not always working.

Since my last update, this has not worked at all for me. I believe as soon as my caches get cleared, the links disappear.

This is really a nice module, but not working for my site at all. Hope this gets resolved soon.

Mine stopped working, too.

Seemed to happen after I turned the taxonomy link part on and then off (due to the bug).

Now what?

*Update: Dropped the table in the database and imported a backup.

Works!

It's a pity there is no activity on this module, it is so close to be perfect..

The d6 version of the module is a veritable bear of spaghetti code-- i've spent days on it and I still can't quite grok much of what's going on (which is why I completely rewrote it for d7). Bug fixes will still be considered for the d6 version, especially when accompanied by a patch, but I need the exact details of how to reproduce it. I just don't have the time to devote to "sometimes it works sometimes it doesn't" type bugs.

Any issues without detailed instructions for reproducing the bug will be closed. sorry guys. this thing is a black hole.

Sorry, yes indeed the problem is that SOMETIMES the links are made and SOMETIMES not, in the same target node, without touching the glossify nodes or settings whatsoever.
So yes, I can't reproduce it, it's just that glossify is not consistent in generating the links, not reliable.
And I have no idea where to even start looking for a bug since sometimes it works and sometimes not.
So we can forget about it for D6, and hopefully the D7 version works fine, I have yet to use glossify on a D7 site.
Thank you for still looking at this module which was very promising in terms of functionality.

If I can get some time, I'll try to backport the new d7 version, which is completely filter based, to d6. But yeah, the more I look at d6.3 the more convinced I become it's a complete waste of time.
