in a quite long post I recently tried to describe my difficulties finding a 'proper' way to organize my content - or actually to dynamically generate the corresponding menu tree along with a growing taxonomy..
http://drupal.org/node/170752
Until now I didn't get any answers yet on that post - maybe my post was too long - maybe too complicated..?
On the other hand I'm still 'monitoring' a good half a dozen of posts about the different modules'n'hacks'n'difficulties other people have.. I suspect that this is a problem everybody using drupal runs into - sooner or later..
..anyways - in this post I'd very much like to know what your approach is - how do YOU organize your menu-tree so that it reflects/shows/uses taxonomy terms..? ..what modules do you use? ..what tipps, tricks, hacks, patches, tactics..? ..what is you recommendation..?
thank you very much, greetings, till..

This topic is of interest to me as well, so I'll share some of my "recipes" for Taxonomy navigation.
1. I love using the "Summary" argument with Taxonomy Vocab in Views, sometimes with the term as well.
2. Panels. Panels is a great way to show Taxonomy trees on certain pages. Also, look into the "Taxonomy Lineage" module. Although, most of it's functionality can be done in views.
3. There is a module in the taxonomy section of the module downloads that automatically adds Vocab/Terms to your menu.
