Hi,
I'm reposting the same feature asked by another post because it's not for 4.6, it's for 5.1.
The idea is the same, add a line in the core access control for each newsletter created to specify precisely who can access or not to a defined newsletter.
Because lot of websites have several newsletter, and they are always for all people.
Thanks
zmove

mightyiam commentedPerhaps the taxonomy access control module can help you do that, since each newsletter has a unique term.

zmove commentedHmmm I will try, but don't you think it's like shoot a mouse with a bazooka ?

jshuster@drupal.org commentedUsing taxonomy access is a good idea for some sites, but we use organic groups for access control.
Being able to set the permission to subscribe to specific newsletters by role would be very useful.

sutharsan commentedIn the modular approach Drupal has this is a request for a simplenews-og 'glue' module. A won't fix for simplenews.
