In IE 8 using IE Tester (I don't have a native-installed version of IE 8), there's a popup window that appears multiple times and repeatedly needs to be cleared with the following alert message:

window.external.InPrivateFilteringEnabled method called

It basically makes in unusable for IE 8 and because you never know what browser folks will be using...

This doesn't occur in IE 7, Safari or Firefox. I've applied the patch from http://drupal.org/node/1734752 so that's not it.

Any ideas here? Thanks...

Update: The same thing happens on the 2.x version - don't know how I missed it. Or perhaps it's an IE Tester thing. I might just have to let IE 8 users deal with this, if it happens on a "real" IE 8 install.

As a BTW, on 4.x you may wish to consider renaming the div ID to match the 2.x version (block-addthis-addthis-block is 4.x and block-addthis-addthis is used for 2.x) so that styling doesn't change on upgrade. Just sayin'...

Its a privacy setting of the browser but not something that is on our part to fix.
