Just hit a fatal error "MAXIMUM FUNCTION NESTING LEVEL OF '100' REACHED", which appears to have been triggered by ds_views_row_render_node() in conjunction with Entity Views Alter.

After cursory investigation, my gut tells me this is an EVA issue, not a DS issue.
I've posted a workaround to this EVA issue: #1741340-3: Infinite recursion in eva_entity_view_alter() (only when used with Display Suite?)
