Actually, Radix is set to work with Panels rather than regions (block regions). We might consider regions down the road. But right now, we're focusing on Panels.

thx for the replay
i don't like panels .i use the context module
i made some changes to the page.tpl.php to include sidebars for instance but layout.css would need some work .
searchbox could be on the topbar between the two menus but without the search button
