Maybe I've missed this somewhere, but is it possible to place within a Group Menu a link that links back to that group's Home Page? That is, is it possible to do without having to hack the OG module?

This patch makes the Group Title at the top of the Group Menu a clickable link that will take you to the Group Home Page.

I am on the 5.x-4.4 version of OG but I don't see a group menu item available. Should I apply this patch?

Sorry, you are right - although I am a little bit right too ;-). Og 5.x-4.4 does not seem to have that functionality on its own, but the group menu provided by the "OG Content Type Admin" module does give me the group homepage. I find this to be a very useful module, but if you would still prefer to have this in OG itself please do reopen the bug.

Actually, after I wrote this I found this thread which provides a great snippet for a button in a block: http://drupal.org/node/197454. I implemented it last night and it works quite well!
