After trying it for a while I see there is no option to group nodes (not fields of one node collapsed "around" one field of that node) in a view so that when grouped around a common field for all of them, use that common field as header for the accordion to work... this is not possible with this module, right?

any suggestion for what I want to do?

What I want/need: I have a view (table) listing students (nodes) of different school year groups, let´s say that there are 2 year groups, 10 kids belong to Y1 and 10 kids belong to Y2. I group the students by their year groups and then have the headers collapsed so when you click on "Y1" the 1st ten students show in a table style.

Thanks to any one that can help me with this.

Did you select a field for "Grouping field Nr.1" and check " Use the group header as the Accordion header" (If checked, the Group's header will be used to open/close the accordion.) in the Settings for Accordian Style?

It took me a minute to find this.

I think i did, but only if the "environment" of the view is fields of one node, that is: a node has 3 fields, one of them is the name, so I can use the "Grouping field Nr.1" as name and then name will be the group header for the accordion and the rest of the fields will be collapsed inside of name.

With different nodes in the view it does not happen.... or at least I couldn't do it... could you? did you manage to collapse several nodes in a common field to all of them?

Please tell me if you could, so I give it another try.

thanks

I was able to group by Taxonomy Term, which was a field I added to the view. You have to check "Use the group header as the Accordion header"

It´s true! Thanks. My only problem now is that the table look is gone, it only lets me have the unformatted within and other style things that have been change like the buttons are too big and stuff like that. Can someone point me where to find a ´how to´ to tweak this view in those ways?

thanks a lot
