Views Accordion provides a display style plugin for the Views module.
It will take the results and display them as a JQuery accordion, using the first field as the header for the accordion rows.
Features:
- Works with field grouping and relationships.
- Option to use the field grouping headers as the headers for the accordion items. (yay!)
- Option to Auto cycle items (which pauses on mouse over)
- Option to add Open All - Close All links.
- Configure whether or not you'd like to keep one item opened. (Ej. the user clicks on an opened item, whether you want it to close or not)
- Option to allow more than one row to be open
- Ability to specify which row is opened by default
- Advanced help pages.
Note that the documentation and advanced help pages need some love, patches are welcome!
Development status and future plans
Development for Drupal6 has entered a bug fixes only mode.
Development for Drupal 7 has started and here is the path this module will take:
We'll drop most of our custom JS, and move to using jQuery UI accordion, which is now included in Drupal core.Done! We will focus on supporting most options from the jQuery UI accordion plug-in.Done. Testers welcome!- Some of the features currently in Drupal 6 will not make it in the beginning. or at all. However, the jQuery UI plug-in provides events and methods for further customization of the accordion's functionality.
How to help development of this module:
- Documenting this module, either providing patches for advanced help pages, or updating the documentation page
