So, I want to have the brilliant gallery block on the header of my page with it just as one row. But, no matter how I configure it, the thumbnails are all centered in a straight line down one column with a single small strip of the background color on the left side of the page. Was something installed wrong? Or is this just a bug?

I am sure it works as desired in node and in side blocks. You are correct (thanks for noticing!) that it does not work if the block is set to appear in header nor footer. I have currently no clue why this is - must be something related to how the template works, which is unrelated to BG. I'll investigate this more but may need input from people working with templates.. anybody out there reading this?
